Fiber Molding Compounds
P2SI's high temperature chopped fiber molding compounds are zero volatile systems used for compression molding part fabrication. Stiffness and strength have been specifically engineered with respect to fiber length, fiber finish, and fiber volume fraction then combined with an ideally formulated melt viscosity resin to produce our high temperature molding compound products.
Key Features
- Glass transition temperatures of up to 900°F (482°C)
- Products are zero volatile and no free amine
- Low bulk factor
- Low cost alternative to prepreg materials
- Robust processing
