P²SI awarded Phase I SBIR program for development of carbon nanofiber fused carbon microfiber composites

Monday, January 7, 2008 -- Centerville, OH. Performance Polymer Solutions Inc. was awarded a Phase I program to enhance the mechanical and electrical performance of polymer matrix composites utilizing P²SI's patented Nanofiber Fused-Microfiber (Nf2-M) technology. P²SI's novel technology provides nano-reinforced composites without the problems traditionally associated with airborne nanofibers or nanofiber dispersion.
