P2SI Awarded Navy NAVAIR Phase I SBIR Program

P2SI receives Phase I SBIR contract to improve the hot/wet performance of high temperature polymer matrix composites

Monday, April 16, 2007-- Centerville, OH. Performance Polymer Solutions Inc. was recently awarded a Phase I SBIR program from the Navy to develop and commercialize a new high temperature polymer matrix composite material with improved hot/wet performance, improved process robustness, and reduced costs compared to the current state-of-the-art AFRPE®-4 material developed by the P2SI Principals. The new material will be used to manufacture hot aerospace structures for the defense industry. High temperature polymeric materials are P2SI's core business.
