P2SI's niche is the development of new technologies that will enable new systems with superior performance. Novel fiber surface modifications to dramatically enhance the electrical, thermal, and interlaminar properties of ceramic and polymer matrix composites, ultra-high thermal conductivity/ultra-low density materials for electronics applications, solvent-free polyimide materials with the physical characteristics of liquid epoxy resins, organic-inorganic hybrid structural materials with excellent strength over 1000°F, and low-cost, rapid processing of high temperature polymer composites are only a few of the exciting new technologies currently being commercialized by P2SI and our industry partners.
